Since my netbook is getting obsolete (4GB of internal SSD memory does not help when the latest Ubuntu Netbook Remix requires 4.2GB or so), and the battery is dying horribly (from 6-8 hours of function to 30 minutes), I'm looking to replace it. Firefox updating to 8.0 has broken Deepest Sender again. Well, not "broken", but more of disabling until DS gets updated to work on the new major version number. Sat in on a court session today, with some friends. I think my problem is that I take things too literally.

When I see someone going "I love how [bad stuff]", I have to actively stop myself from asking "what, do you really?" I know, after analysis, that it's sarcasm. But it always takes me a minute or so before I figure it out.

I know at any other time, I should be all happy and enthusiastic about NaNoWriMo coming up and all that. I even have a possible story idea in mind that's actually almost completely fleshed out ( Read more... )
